A group of students participated in a National Seminar held at Don Bosco College, Golaghat

A group of two students from the Department of Sociology, Ankita Bhuyan and Darshana Lahon, actively participated in an ICSSR sponsored National Seminar held at Don Bosco College Golaghat on 5th and 6th February, 2026. Their paper, titled “Awareness of Indian Culture among the Youth in Modern Society with the Help of Artificial Intelligence (AI)”, examined the evolving relationship between technology and cultural awareness among young people. The presentation highlighted how AI tools can both influence and enhance understanding of Indian cultural values in a rapidly modernizing society.

Their work was appreciated for addressing a contemporary issue with an innovative perspective, contributing meaningfully to ongoing academic discussions on culture, youth, and technology.
