Registrar
Dr. Utpal Jyoti Mahanta joined as the first Registrar of Jagannath Barooah University on 1st August 2025. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Principal of Jagannath Barooah College (Autonomous), Assam, since 2022. Dr. Mahanta has also previously served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Sibsagar College.
