The Department of Sociology, J.B College (Autonomous), Jorhat in collaboration with the NGO, Farm2Food Foundation, Jorhat organized a Community Engagement Programme from 3^rd December 2024 to 24^th December 2024. The Programme aimed at improving sustainable farming techniques among school students. Students of the 3rd semester of the Department have been trained by the experts of Farm2Food Foundation and after that they visited various schools to educate the young learners and their parents about Organic Farming Practices, and Eco-friendly agricultural techniques. As a part of their Community Engagement Programme the students organised various interactive sessions including practical demonstrations on farming methods and encouraged school students and their parents to adopt eco-friendly farming habits and contribute towards a sustainable future.
