The Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2025 campaign was observed at Jagannath Barooah University, Jorhat, on 25th September, 2025, as part of the UGC initiative “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath Swachhata.” The program was organized to promote the values of cleanliness, civic responsibility, and environmental awareness among the academic community.

The event was inaugurated by the Registrar of the University, Dr. Utpal Jyoti Mahanta. On this occasion, Dr. Surajit Sharma, Dean of Academic Affairs, and Dr. Subhasish Sharma, Dean of Students’ Affairs  encouraged the gathering.

Teachers, office staff, students, and NCC cadets took part enthusiastically in the campus cleaning drive. Their joint effort reflected the spirit of teamwork and responsibility towards maintaining a clean and green campus.

The program was successfully coordinated under the supervision of Capt. Sandeep Sankar Regan, Associate NCC Officer (ANO), who ensured the smooth accomplishment of the drive.
