This is to inform all concerned that a Peer Group is scheduled to visit Jagannath Barooah University on 4th and 5th October 2026 as part of the prescribed assessment/academic and institutional review process. As informed by the coordinator of the visiting Peer Group, the members of the Group are expected to arrive at the University campus before noon on 4th October 2026. During the visit, the Peer Group will visit various common facilities and infrastructural facilities of the University. It may interact with students, faculty members, officers and other employees, as and when required. On 5th October 2026, the Peer Group will visit various academic departments and other relevant units of the University and may interact with students, faculty members, officers, employees and other stakeholders of the University.
All Officers, Teaching and Non-Teaching Employees of the University are hereby requested not to avail any leave on 4th and 5th October 2026, except in cases of unavoidable circumstances and with the prior approval of the competent authority. All concerned shall remain available and be prepared to attend to any programme, interaction, meeting or other responsibility that may be assigned to them during the visit. All Heads of Departments/Heads of Offices and Coordinators/Heads of the concerned Centres, Directorates, Cells and Committees are requested to ensure full cooperation and proper coordination for the smooth and successful conduct of the Peer Group visit.
