This is for all the concerned that applications are invited herewith from FYUGP 1st Semester students of Jagannath Barooah University (admitted in the year 2026) for the Phanidhar Dutta Memorial Trust Scholarship (for all stream students) and the Tilok Chand Maheshwari Memorial Trust Scholarship (only for Commerce stream students). Applications for the above stated scholarships are to be submitted online only through the Google form link given below on or before 4th September, 2026 (till 11.59 pm).

Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant must belong to a rural background (for Phanidhar Dutta Memorial Trust Scholarship)
- Need to actively participate in the cultivation of his/her family land to feed the family (for Phanidhar Dutta Memorial Trust Scholarship).
- The applicant must belong to a poor (BPL Card holder) family.
- Desire to obtain higher education
Documents to be uploaded while submitting the application:
- Mark sheet of 10+2 examination.
- Address Proof (Voter card/ Aadhar Card/Driving licence)
- Ration (BPL) card.
- Income certificate (issued by the concerned circle office stating that all household income of the applicant comes from agriculture) (only for Phanidhar Dutta Memorial Trust Scholarship)
- Recent passport photograph of the applicant.

- Selection will be based on the merit of the applicant and fulfilment of the eligibility criteria stated above.
